Jim and I have been married for 46 years. We have walked with the Lord and it has been an amazing experience. Both of us were teachers for 30+ years. When we retired Jim had the opportunity to be on the faculty at Greenville College as a reference librarian, which he did for 12 years. During those years I got to spend a lot of time with our grandchildren. While Jim is retired he continues to work as an assistant men's basketball coach at the college.

We have two delightful daughters, Joanna and Jenni. We enjoyed their experiences in school and in sports. Joanna our oldest is married to David and they have n daughters. Joanna is a stay at home Mom. She did spend several years as a college assistant and head softball coach and after coming to Greenville she spent many years as an assistant women's basketball coach at Greenville College. David is Senior Vice President at Trinity International University which is located in Deerfield, Illinois just NW of Chicago. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President at Greenville College.

Jamie, Jo and David's oldest daughter, is a Junior at Greenville college, where she plays soccer and is majoring in Communications with the goal of being an event planner. Joni, a senior in high school, plays volleyball, basketball, and is goalie on the soccer team. She will be attending Trinity International University and will be playing volleyball and possibly majoring in sports medicine or training. She has spent her senior year with us due to her mom and dad's relocation.

Jenni, our youngest daughter, is a high school health teacher at the high school from which she graduated and where Jim taught for 30 years. She spent several years as an assistant basketball coach at the college level. She is not married but has a great American bulldog which is the closest we come to a grandson.

We really enjoyed the wedding of Joanna and getting to spend so much time with our two granddaughters as they were growing up. One of the really exciting times was when Jenni's high school volleyball team won the Ohio Volleyball State Championship. She was Co-Captain and setter for the team.

One of the funniest things that happened to me was when I went with my son-in-law on a ride on their wave runner. It was the first time out in the spring and he had on a wet suit and I had on shorts and a blouse. He assured me I wouldn't get wet because we were just doing a spin around the lake. However, a short time later we made a turn and the wave runner rolled right over throwing me into the cold lake water. Needless to say I got wet and David was so apologetic and later that day a bouquet of beautiful flowers arrived at our house with a note attached telling me how sorry he was. Our family continues to enjoy telling and laughing at this event which has probably been embellished just a bit over the years.
