Sandy Parker Morris
I married my high school sweetheart from Media High School, Wayne Morris. Next February we will celebrate 50 years of marriage. After college Wayne was transferred multiple times with his job. We have lived in Cleveland, Columbus, Omaha, Davenport IA, Boston, and recently retired in Willow Springs, NC (Raleigh area). Each time we moved we bought a house and had a baby. We had 5 children and now have 16 grandchildren ranging in age from 7 months to 29 years, and two great grandchildren. Most of my time was taken up with raising the children. In the 1970s we chose to become born again Christians, which has been one of the best choices we have ever made. I did work part time for 15 years for H&R Block, and loved it. Otherwise, I got to stay at home, and found plenty of hobbies to keep me busy. I have probably tried them all, but for the last 10 years, I have been deeply involved with scrapbooking. Two of my daughters join me on a regular basis in a room that we built just for scrapbooking. It is 12x40 and it is a scrapper's dream room. Wayne and I enjoy vacations , both planned and on the spur of the moment. We are blessed to have three of our children and 12 of our grandchildren living within 20 minutes of us. They really keep us busy. We are really enjoying our home in North Carolina on Patch of Heaven Way(a street named by us). Y'all come and see us.
