Jane Jackson Erlandson

At the end of 2000, Jane retired from teaching, and her husband, Jan, retired from medicine. Each has stayed active in the community serving on various boards (ex. Hospital board, Monroe Arts Center) and trying to stay fit. Bitten by the sailing bug, they have done a lot of bareboating throughout the Caribbean Islands, and even piloted a boat down a canal in southern France through locks designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

They are fortunate enough to have their son and daughter and their families living nearby in the Madison area. As proud grandparents they love spoil their 3 grandchildren. With 43 years of marriage behind them they are looking forward to more adventures in the years ahead.
